SARU has officially found its home away from home at the Marriott Northwest/Medical Center. The room rate? A scandalously affordable $119 per night, plus tax.
Rooms won't wait around forever, and neither should you. Book now, because nothing says "I wasn't paying attention" quite like being the last one to reserve.

Recovery can be hard.
Finding your place in it shouldn’t be.
For the LGBTQIA+ community, getting sober can mean searching for a community where we don’t have to explain who we are before we can talk about where we’ve been. SARU exists to help create that space: A place where we can show up as our whole selves, find fellowship with people who understand, and remember that none of us has to do this alone.
San Antonio Roundup is about more than staying sober. It’s about building a life in recovery that we actually want to live. For one weekend, we come together to share our experience, strength, and hope; to laugh, dance, connect, and celebrate; and to remind one another just how much life is waiting for us on the other side of our last drink or drug.
Come as you are. Find your people. Stay for the fellowship. There’s a lot of life out here and, as it turns out, Much of Heaven.

At San Antonio Roundup, we celebrate the resilience, joy, and beautifully colorful spirit of the LGBTQIA+ recovery community, not just for one weekend, but all year long.
SARU is more than a conference; it's a community. Throughout the year, we work to create spaces where LGBTQIA+ people in recovery can show up exactly as they are, find their people, and experience the kind of connection that reminds us why we keep coming back.
From our annual conference to community events, outreach, and service, everything we do is rooted in a simple belief: Recovery gave us another chance at life, and that life is meant to be lived together, out loud, and in full color.
Your support helps us keep the doors open, the fellowship growing, and the Road of Happy Destiny just a little more fabulous.
For more information, send us a message, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
